遅ればせながらiPhoneを米国のAppleサイトに注文した。
在庫は豊富にあるようで、２−４日のデリバリーということだったが、実際には入金後、即日発送だった。

自分でもやってみたいという方のためにどうやって入手したかをご紹介したい。
１．米国Apple Shopでオンライン注文
２．決済は香港の銀行が発行したクレジットカード
３．すんなりと注文が完了。
　＊配送先は米国のみ。コレをクリアするのが結構ツライ。

ところが・・・
４．当日の夜にAppleからメールがあり決済に使用されたクレジットカードが米国以外で発行されているため、認証が取れないとのこと。
５．次のようなメールが届いた。

Dear Apple Customer,

Thank you for your recent order.

Your credit card information indicates that you used a credit card
issued outside the United States or Canada. Because we cannot verify
information with these banks, we cannot continue to process your order
until you contact us regarding a different payment method.

To continue processing your order, please choose one of the following
methods:

1. Use a credit card issued within the United States or Canada
(MasterCard, American Express, Discover or Visa). To change your order
to a different credit card, please contact one of our phone specialists.
In order to protect your information, please do not submit credit card
information via email.

2. Use a cashier’s check or money order. The Apple Store online accepts
cashier’s checks and money orders. Personal and business checks are not
accepted. The cashier’s check or money order must be payable to Apple
Inc., and include your web order number referenced in this letter. If
you choose this method of payment, please mail it to:

3. Use a wire transfer in U.S. dollars. The Apple Store online accepts
wire transfers. If you would like to use a wire transfer to pay for your

amount of your order. This account cannot accept direct deposits. Please
make it very clear to your bank representative that the Originator to
Beneficiary Information (OBI) field must include your name and order
number.

要するに今回使ったクレジットカードではダメだから次の３つの方法のどれかでお金を支払いなさいとのこと。
　◎アメリカ国内発行のクレジットカードを使う
　◎小切手かマネーオーダーをアップルに送る
　◎銀行送金で支払う
ということで香港のある銀行から送金をしたのが７月２７日の朝。

６．で２７日の夜にAppleからメールがあり出荷したとのこと。
７．Fedexのトラッキング番号があったのでトラックしてみた結果・・・

なんと驚き！！中国のシンセンから発送している！
ということは、シンセンから一端、米国に渡り、そこから香港に来るのだ。直接なら数時間で到着する距離なのにねぇ。
まあ兎に角待とう。

すでにiPhoneハッカーによるWikiが出来ている。リンクしてはいけないことになっているのでここにはリンクしない。残念。でもまあGoogleすればOKですね。
当初は.NET環境が必要だったロック解除アプリだったが、iActivatorというOS X環境で使えるアプリも出来ている。

眺めていたらなんと驚き、遂にiPhoneで動作するアプリ（SSH)が出来ている！！サードパーティーのアプリはiPhoneにインストールできないといってたのですが・・・ジョブズは今、笑っているのだろうか？それとも激怒しているのだろうか？

後は発送を待つのみと思っていたら、たったいまクレジットカード会社から電話があり、「あなたは米国で高額の決済をしたか？問題なければ承認するぞ！」とのこと、なぬぅ〜　「まて！！俺は既に銀行送金した、絶対に引き落とすな！」といったのだが、カード会社サイドは「翌月の明細書を確認してください。もし引き落とされているならば返金処置をとるように・」とのこと・・・二重でとるんじゃねえぞ〜
